Senior Data Scientist

Role and Responsibilities:
-Lead our data science team to build out our core image analysis algorithm
-Develop deep-learning and other machine learning models against large image datasets to improve the our core image analysis algorithm
-Define and build tools and processes to improve the core image analysis algorithm
-Full ownership of application life cycles, including prioritization and continuous improvement by working closely with engineering teams
-Curate reference datasets and become subject-matter expert for analyzing our test cards

Mission/Purpose:
Vessel’s image analysis algorithm is one of the key components of our product. The data science team continues to improve our accuracy so we can deliver an epic experience to our consumer. The data science team needs to be filled with A-players, all working together to deliver this. The ideal candidate is a strong, creative and highly-motivated Computer Vision Scientist with hands-on experience in leading multiple research and engineering initiatives. Acquisition Marketing Manager

Mission/Purpose:
The Acquisition Marketing function at Vessel is the growth engine of the direct business and responsible for driving new customer adoption through digital and offline channels. Our team is highly cross-functional, working closely with other teams in the organization--primarily Creative (Brand and Design), Web Product, Email, Customer Insights, Sales and Operations planning, and the executive team.

The Manager help will set and own the new customer acquisition number and be responsible for the media budget, end-to-end strategy of all campaigns, management of agency partners, and will be the internal champion for these efforts.
