Chief Technology Officer

Vessel is an early-stage startup bringing wellness tracking into the home.Wellness tracking often lacks accessibility. Even more frustrating is when products geared at helping us improve wellness lack clear action steps. Through our at-home urinalysis test card, users have the ability to track wellness metrics such as - Vitamins C, B7, B9, Magnesium, Hydration, pH, and Cortisol.

Users then receive customized food and lifestyle recommendations based on their specific results. Our users can actually order food and customized multivitamins to navigate deficiencies and optimize their wellness.

We're still in the scrappy startup phase, and are looking for people who are comfortable with the fast pace and adaptability. We're a mostly remote team. Role and Responsibilities:
The Chief Technology Officer will be the leader and manager of our in-house development team and technology partners. They will be responsible for building and managing the team as we scale. They are in charge of all the technology aspects of the business including:

-Oversee system architecture, security, and operations
-Ensure our stack is up to date, working, and new features are added efficiently
-Ensure that bugs and crashes are fixed as fast as possible
-Manage development of our computer vision algorithm
-Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing the engineering, data science, and quality assurance teams as needed
-Implement and manage our internal scrum process
-Building the technology infrastructure to conform to HIPAA and SOC2 requirements
-Managing technology partnerships that we outsource work to

Role and Responsibilities

-Responsible for paid media efforts of performance marketing channels, including launching campaigns, writing creative briefs, analyzing performance, testing new channels, and developing acquisition forecasts.
-Has experience in directly launching acquisition campaigns for fast-growing companies. Does not need to lean on agencies or outside campaign managers
-Experience withPaid Facebook and Instagram ads
-HIGHLY quantitative. A/B testing, experimentation, and front to back quantitative analysis come second nature to this person
-Thoughtful approach to learning new channels and testing new approaches to acquiring customers, including influencer marketing

Mission/Purpose
The Paid Media Manager function at Vessel is the growth engine of the direct business and responsible for driving new customer adoption through digital channels.

The Manager help will set and own the new customer acquisition number and be responsible for the media budget, end-to-end strategy of all campaigns, management of agency partners, and will be the internal champion for these efforts.

Responsibilities:
- Oversight for Lateral Flow Immunoassay (LFA) production
- Effectively and positively lead, train, and advance team members to align with company goals and growth targets
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Analyze and manage work order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements
- Lead development of a high performing manufacturing culture focused on critical KPI’s such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Schedule Adherence, and Quality/First Time and Safe Lab Practices. Utilize tools like Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk, and SPC to improve processes
- Manage daily schedule with a focus on efficiency, meeting timelines, and maintaining a high quality of work
- Manage maintenance, turnover, and availability of inventory to meet production demandsEvaluate and maintain new and existing manufacturing equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Hiring for a lab technician for 40 hours per week
This position is located at the Benjamin Franklin labs in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Monday - Friday
9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities:
-Assemble final product
-Performing manual tasks associated with the day to day operation of the laboratory
-Provide support to the researchers in the laboratory - e.g. prepare solutions, run QC testing of the product
